Phippsburg Notes After Winter Gale and Local Moves
Local items from Phippsburg describe residents changing shifts at BIW Bath visits by families including the McCourts and Wyman, occupancy of the former post office, and mariners Irv ing Arthur and Wesley Harrington in France with Wesley earning another service bar. Roads hinder travel with Bowker walking home from Stoneybrook, property checks at Perry's Cove, and damage from the gale with uprooted trees and high tides. A fire at a Ridge home displaced the Senecals, and Grace Dickinson’s hand shows slow healing. February 1911.
