The North End Sewing club gathered at Mrs. Charles Henderson's Fo Priggi street home for an evening event honoring Mrs. Charles H Andrews birthday. A surprise party presented a decorated cake while guests included Mrs. Carlton Andrews and Mrs. Henderson co hosting. Mrs. Andrews lives with her son and wife at Bonnie Brook farm East Brunswick. out of town guest Mrs. Rick Hastings of Bangor attended with her parents.

The 3.50% series will receive $0.87 per share and the 6% series $1.50 per share. Common stock dividend date set for Sept. 30 with record Sept. 1.

Hyde was active in civic life and Maine golf, headed the Maine State Golf Association, and helped found Bath Country Club. The couple hosted many out of town guests including relatives from Ipswich Bedford and Portland.
Mr and Mrs Ralph Lewis Jr of High street announce the birth of a daughter born August 14 at Presley Maternity Home Washington street. The baby weighs six pounds and is named Diane Lee.
