Maine State Guard units from Bath and guests held a clambake and field day at Small Point. About 45 attended enjoying athletic events including a 100 yard dash won by Corporal Fletcher in 12 seconds. Two youths fined for speeding autos in Bath court
Two 17 year old youths pleaded guilty to speeding on Commercial street at 40 to 50 mph. They paid fines of 10 dollars plus court costs of 4.70 dollars and were placed under arrest. Nine intoxication cases were heard with eight fined 5 dollars plus costs and the ninth given 60 days in jail plus 90 days for probation violation.
