The Third Annual Pastime Horse Show at Hon. Arthur J. Dunton's Summer estate in West Bath drew hundreds for an afternoon of top horses and riders. Harp and Black April led blue ribbons across multiple classes with riders including M. S. Tomlinson and Mrs. James A. Gillies Jr. The event featured Jane Hyde and other winners with judges M. S. Hatch and Leon Beck judging different divisions.

Henry Samuel Millay former advertising manager of The Boston Herald died at his Melrose home from injuries after a garage fall two weeks earlier. County to Pay National Guards for Fire Service in Sagadahoc
