Child drowns in newly dug well on High Street
Geraldine Ma bel Delano six year old daughter of Mr and Mrs George Delano drowned Thursday morning in a newly dug well on Upper High street. Philip Ratleff 18 recovered the body after probing four feet of water with an eel spear. Geraldine a Plymouth native, came to Bath from Duxbury with her parents. She leaves her mother and father, a half sister Libby Ratleff, three half brothers Philip Francis and Millard Ratleff, and a sister Jessie May Delano.

Dynamite Used To Check Progress Of Westport Fire

Thieves broke into the Samuel Povich grocery at 465 Middle Street Friday night, stealing about $25 worth of goods including tobacco ham groceries and soda.
