Magnetic finger tests aid locating hidden metal fragments
A five inch stainless magnetic finger was demonstrated at New York Post Graduate Hospital to locate metal shrapnel in wounds. Inventor Samuel Berman, a former railway engineer and World War I veteran, showcased how the device, connected to a meter, detects fragments at various depths, with larger pieces found deeper than pinhead fragments. His son Jerome Berman led demonstrations at the Mayo Clinic.

Not Guilty For Crocker And Pushard In Bath Court Hearing
Municipal court judge cleared Patrolman George R. Crocker of assault charges and Frederick C. Pushard of driving under the influence and related counts after a lengthy hearing.
