Result of Burns Claims Malden Painter Dies at 49
Edwin W. Wallace of 458 Main street Malden died at home April 22 after a two week illness from pneumonia aged about 49. He was burned January while employed by Eastern Steamship Co on the City of Bangor in East Boston, leaving him with severe burns. He was born in Phippsburg Maine and lived in Malden since September last, worshiping at Free Will Baptist Church. Survived by widow Nellie, daughter Mildred Haskell of Malden, parents Jason and Mrs Wallace of Bath, sister Delia Luther of Bath, and brother Orrin C Wallace. Interment was at Forestdale.
