Bath aims to add stories to the present Bank block to create a premier hotel location. The plan hopes to yield a top city hotel and a fair return, with general support that Bath would benefit from improved banking and local commerce amid recent town changes. The Eagle polo team also claims the city league title with a perfect nine game record.
The article profiles City Marshal Heald of Portland who retires after 43 years in public service including 34 with the Maine Central. Albert Marr, Boston machinist, plans two week visit with parents. Perry C Bealk returns from Hood Rubber in Watertown. Miss Jessie Eaton recovering from a week of illness. Mrs Clara Campbell returns home from winter with daughter Mrs Charles Hinckley in Quincy, Mass.
