Peculiar Accident Sends Morse Freshman From Elm Tree
John Turtillette fourteen of 75 Russell Street climbed an elm edge by Pleasant Avenue to retrieve a baseball. His right arm became wedged in a crevice and fire crews from Engine 4 freed him with ladders after he was held by one arm. He stayed conscious and endured pain while firefighters released the stuck limb. He is a Morse High School freshman.
