Phippsburg Reminiscence Of Shipyard Past At Center
A twilight stroll through Phippsburg Center evokes its shipbuilding era. The Minott yard, Bowker ships, and three mast schooners once hauled ice and timber to launch days. Homes and landmarks recall Capt. James Drummond, Captain Percy, and the Bowker legacy, with locals relocating for summer, road work, and town preparations.
