Joanne Ruth six pounds born Saturday night at City Hospital to Mr and Mrs Marshall J Boudreau 41 Western Ave. Boudreau formerly Miss Bessie R Galvin kindergarten teacher at Dike School. Mr Boudreau works for Oakhurst Dairy.
The Winnegance Squaw club met with Mrs. Winfield W Morse hosting auction and refreshments. Auxiliary groups plan weekly Wednesday events and send members to Lisbon for the Spring Progressive Union of Clubs meeting. High Street road holes are being filled after frequent rains. Moving picture show at the community house postponed. Fence construction planned near Harrison with 1800 cedar posts. Maine fish hatcheries chief to visit Winnegance to discuss stocking the lake. Thursday card party at 7 30 pm in the community club house with prizes at month end.

The Woman's Missionary Society of the Nazarene church met last Wednesday at 31 Deering Street to elect officers. New officers elected include Mrs. J. Everett Mayo as president, Mrs. Annie Williams as first vice-president, Mrs. Eugene R. Brown as second vice-president, Miss Lois J. Palmer as secretary, and Mrs. Iva C. Kenney as treasurer. Other posts were filled by Mrs. Lester Lewis for study, Mrs. Brown for Prayer and Fasting League, and Mrs. Edith Stewart as agent for Other Sheep, with committees named for membership and related duties.
Boothbay Harbor boat service will restart between Bath and Boothbay Harbor on June 1, according to Capt. A. P. Greenleaf of Boothbay Harbor, general manager of the Samoset Steamboat Co. The gasolene motor boat Norman II will start then, about 35 days later than last year, and the steamer Virginia on June 20, five days later than last year. Schedules depend on Maine Central railroad timetable announcements to ensure proper connections.
Francis W Norton and Miss Jessie E Colby were married Friday night at eight at Wesley M E parsonage by Rev F L Littlefield. They received a casual reception from friends and will reside with the bride's mother at 45 Pine Street. Norton is son of John R Norton and works at Bath Iron Works. Colby is daughter of Mrs E B Colby and works at Torrey Roller Bushing Works.
Miss Alice B Ramsay returns to the club after illness as members enjoy a fine program with a few club participants.
The Small Point Community Sunday school will present an Easter program on April 16 at 7 30. The event marks a rare long gap in such programs and invites all local children and adults to attend. The school has grown, with many teachers and a purpose built for summer attendance. Regular preaching services begin Sunday evenings at 7 30 through the summer.
Mrs. Carrie M. Sampson came back Thursday night to her home at 1059 High street after several weeks with her daughter Mrs. Lafayette Lake of Belmont Massachusetts and with her son Arthur P. Sampson of Woodfords.

Forty five members attended the Winter Street chapel tea as the season’s final Ladies Aid gathering. Hostess Mrs Charles E Plaisted led, with Spring millinery dating to 1860. Mrs Clifford Wilband won the hat prize. Isabel Carter and Warren Kershner served as pourers. Members praised the event as a merriment filled program ending with a generous silver offering and a bouquet for the president.
