The funeral for John M. Stinson took place Wednesday afternoon at two at his home 476 Middle Street. Rev. Elwyn O. Taylor of Corliss Street Baptist Church officiated. Bearers included Charles F. Stinson, Leland R. Mitchell, Alderman Harry W. Crosman, and Robert C. Mitchell. Burial followed at Oak Grove cemetery.
