Home Mission department of the W C T U visited the city farm on Monday afternoon and held a meeting led by Mrs Maud Russell. Naomi Robbins Irene Sweet and Robbins sang with Robbins on guitar. Hymns were sung at the family’s request. Visitors brought pussy willows Mayflowers and spring blossoms and refreshments. Mrs Mitchell the mother was away but received by her assistant Jennie Hughes. The ladies praised the farm’s neatness.

Jack Dempsey a clever Bath horse owned by John F. E. Sonia of 103 Beacon Street died after a frightened chase Saturday. The eight year old saddle horse broke from a wagon, dashed through streets, was fatally injured and shot by a local agent to end its suffering.
