County Attorney Carey Announces Candidacy for renomination
County Attorney John P. Carey Jr. has announced his candidacy for Democratic renomination. He was the only Democratic county officer winner in 1932 and helped draft the party platform at the state convention. Carey previously ran unopposed and defeated Republican Ellis Aldrich by 187 votes. Also running are Ralph O. Dale and Gardiner R. Deering for the Democratic nod.
