Thrown From Horse Injures Rider at Fair Grounds
Jack Thomas, employed by A H Church near Hyattville, was thrown during a saddle horse race Friday at the fair grounds and landed on his head. He was taken to Basin hospital with possible concussion and serious injuries. A team ran away during the incident but was stopped before major damage.

Fair board cancels program at grounds with public viewing
At the meeting this morning the fair board decided no program would be held today at the fair grounds as all race horses have appeared and races would have little value. The grounds will be open to the public for viewing the agricultural exhibits and a dance will be given by the fair board in the Walters building tonight.

Amputated Leg After Horse Accident in Basin Hospital
John Cooper of Greybull underwent amputation of a leg yesterday at Basin Hospital by Dr. Carter. He had earlier injuries to the leg with bones and a plate, but the diseased condition made saving the limb impossible. The operation was successful and recovery is expected to be rapid.
