Funeral in Cheyenne and aerial post milestone

Ed Dunaway, undertaker for Basin Furniture Co., returned from Red Bank where he prepared the bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins for burial. The Jenkins funeral will be in Cheyenne while ex-Governor Richards was found and will join the party in Mometa. The world’s first aerial post flew from London to Windsor Castle by Gustave Hamel in 15 minutes at 105 mph despite wind.

Record Crowd at Big Horn County Fair Parade and Events

A large attendance set a record at the Big Horn County Fair with a 10:30 parade led by the Love band and floats from local merchants. Manderson’s band drew crowds after noon, the aeroplane flight faced engine trouble but was fixed by Thursday. The agricultural exhibit impressed visitors, bucking contest thrilled spectators, and events like the 440 yard dash mile relay and motorcycle show drew strong interest. Coons and McClure tied high jump at 4 feet 10 inches. relay also tied.

Walters Building Dance Attracts Largest Attendance

Wednesday evening crowds filled the Walters building for a fair dance that drew the largest attendance of the event. Other dances also drew good patronage, and a special southbound train departed at 9 30 that night with similar service planned for Thursday.

In half mile dash Ontario Oregon saw Farmer Boy first with Bones second and no third named. The three eighth mile dash winner was Ray Egan with Famous second and Joe D third. Greentrot saw Lost Bird first and Duke McGregor second. Saddle horse race results listed Chub first and Chaco second. Republican for job work.
