On Wednesday the 24th the case of Revoir versus Gaffner was heard in Greybull. The dispute involves $600 damages over unlawful entry into a rented house with claims of a stolen diamond ring. The court held both sides partly at fault and each to bear own costs. deed of judgment denied. Trials were unsettled or continued for other cases due to sickness and stipulation. No jury will sit until mid November to accommodate harvests with juries planned in Big Horn Hot Springs and Park counties beginning November 17. The judge has yet to decide the first county.

Jennings murder solved as Cardillos implicate Newell in Laramie
In Laramie Wyoming on September 22 1924 Pete Cardillo 20 a state liquor squad member confessed after eight hours of questioning. He claimed Walter Newell fired the fatal shots at Frank Jennings while Cardillo and his brother John Cardillo aided by driving the car. John Cardillo then corroborated the story. Authorities expect the confessions to yield enough evidence to convict all three men involved.
