Oil Spout Delivers Large Basin Well Near Greybull

A Basin driller for C E Stubbs of Denver opened a major Greybull oil well on Lincoln Townsite land, 640 acres. The sand tapped at 071 feet produced quickly, spouting oil up to 75 feet high at times. Early estimates place potential output at 200 to 400 barrels per day, with high quality oil 48 to 50 specific gravity.

New Oil Rig Arrives For Basin Test At Pease Land

A Burlington International Harvester demonstration train, carrying top experts, will visit Basin on an announced date with plans for public viewing from 4 pm to 10 pm.
