Women, FLOQUENE Many Old Time Cowpuncheras And Stockman Meet For Pleasure And Profit. The annual banquet of the Big Horn Basin Cattlemen and Horse Growers Association was held at the Antlers hotel last evening. President B. Skovgard introduced A. B. Mercer Jr as master of the evening. Speakers praised better feeding methods and stock quality. The meeting closed with calls for continued annual banquets and a December regular meeting. The Woman club plans a guest day at the old rows in September with Mrs. Avery as chair and a program on Woman's Progress including recitals and discussions. A large attendance is urged. A land contest before Cowt Commissioner B. T. Jonlin drew witnesses in town this week.

Homestead and Oil Claim Shifts Across Greyull River
Harry Smith made a homestead entry near the Greyull River mouth. He proved up and received final receipt, then deeded to the Greyul Of competity. Relinquishments followed as various parties filed and withdrew. In 1913 an oil claim arose and the oil company sued to secure the title. Hearing records will go to the head office for decision.

L W Wakely, C G Burnham, C E Spend and J A Devine visited Basin this week for county inspections and crop views, then traveled to Worland. A long 78 car train passed Basin last Friday with engineer Ruel Stailcup praised. The Greybull Women’s Federated Clubs plan a September 30 dance to fund the state federation delegates’ visit in October. Tickets are $1 per couple.
