L L Newton of the Cody club unveiled a plan to place a cut out Col Cody figure to guide motorists entering Yellowstone from the Billings Cody way and Yellowstone highway. The idea was adopted by the Billings Cody way group and will extend to master signs east of Billings and across Wyoming.

Bench Canal Drainage District Seeks 20 Percent Additional Assessment
The Bench Canal Drainage District in Big Horn County Wyoming filed October 23 1919 a petition in district court for an order authorizing a 20 percent additional assessment on the original benefits for drainage work totaling 40787.50 dollars. The court set November 15 1919 at 10 a m in Basin Wyoming for interested parties to appear and remonstrate against the assessment.
