Dome drilling resumes with test at Tillard ranch site

The Genoa company moves its rig from the old Hoye location on the Tillard ranch a half mile south to drill a new hole. W. H. Hutchison of Sioux City and Mr. Hoye visited Basin this week and said operations will proceed rapidly with a geologist promising a good strike at the site.

Officials warn that boys tampering with headgates on irrigating ditches is a criminal offense under state law with heavy penalties. The notice orders all boys to stop tampering with headgates or ditches immediately or face complaints.
