W P Bullock, contractor for the Lovell drainage system, visited town this week to oversee work. He operates a machine that digs the trench lays tile and covers the trench in one operation and expects Lovell’s system to be completed early summer. He also will review conditions south of Basin and at Werland.
Frank A Wise reports Adler i ka sale in Basin claiming one spoonful relieves most constipation sour stomach and even appendicitis with gas passing within a minute. Basin Wyoming officials canvassed the May 9 1916 municipal election results. J A Berry received 122 votes for mayor against F T Brigham 68. Hime and Gibson topped council votes for two-year terms with 122 each, Booth 72, Feddergen 61. Berry to serve one year. Hime and Gibson elected to two years. Oath of office administered. session adjourned. Follow up session set June 5 1916 for crosswalk bids. various town appointments and salaries approved. treasurer appointment debated.
