Basin County Commissioners Meet in Regular Session 1916
Basin Wyoming May 2 3 4 1916 board of county commissioners met in regular session with T W Spratt chairing and M D Harris and Cheero Avent present. Rebate of James Roy disallowed and taxes of Workman Johnson & Co for 1908 partially reduced. Half the taxes for Big Horn Drug Co 1915 accepted on double assessment in District 28. Basin Land Company taxes adjusted per treasurer list. Bridges on Greybull river debated with votes for and against. two bridges authorized to be advertised and one for SE% of Sec 3 Twp 51 N R 97 W. J H Welsh instructed to replace Five Mile Bridge to thirty feet. Road reports approved and filed. Deputy sheriff commissions granted to A W Hall and Swan Ekberg without salary. Bridge funding concerns lead to adjournment of bridge matters to next meeting. Adjourned to June 6 1916.
