A parade followed the station greeting and a luncheon at Fraternity hall featured speeches from Mayor Frank A Wise Chamber secretary J A Berry and visiting leaders praising ties between Billings and the Big Horn Basin.

Good Roads Fund Dance Earns Cash for Hyattville
Mrs. Claude Lockhart, treasurer, reports $64.86 in receipts from the land office surveyors for the Hyattville good roads benefit dance held Saturday night, June 21. Profits from ticket sales and a punch booth run by Ada Bayne totaled $14.45. The hall, donated by BH. M. Ile, was renovated by the surveyors for an enjoyable evening.

Automobile licenses issued and county totals urged
Secretary of State Chaplin releases a table through June 1 showing 16 000 automobile licenses 200 motorcycle and 150 dealers licenses. The fund sent to counties totaled 64 697 20 with Big Horn county receiving 3 458. The county car valuation stands at 11 615 218 62 and officials warn many vehicles statewide lack licenses or share tags. Big Horn County has only six licensed dealers though many more should.

Bankers Meet in Cody During Annual Wyoming Session
The Wyoming Bankers' association Group 1 held its annual meeting in Cody with large attendance from Big Horn Basin and representatives from Billings Cheyenne and the territory. Elected president was H. C. Parks of Cody. A banquet at the Irma featured Parks as toastmaster followed by speeches from R. J. Covert D. L. Darr L. R. Ewart and Harry B. Henderson. Delegates toured Holm Lodge for a trout dinner on Sunday and Basin members attended with multiple named attendees.

New Postage Rates Take Effect July First
Postage changes set for July 1 include two cent rates for outbound first class letters at the same weight, one cent local drop letters, and one cent postal cards. Three cent envelopes must be redeemed by August 1, with non redemption after that date. Exchange surplus at the federal building before the switch.

Explosion injures two on Big Horn canal work
J H Welsh and J A Weidaman were hurt by a dynamite blast at Mechlem gulch while working on the Big Horn canal contract. Welsh suffered facial and arm burns with minor injuries. Weidaman broke a rib, damaged an arm, burned on the face, and was hospitalized with uncertain recovery.

Small Fire in Stockyards Delayed Welcome for Special
A fire was found in a stock car in the stock yards shortly after the Billings special arrived. Clint Hall led the hose cart with 200 pounds of ice, while J A Bain tried to douse flames with Excelso. Section men beat them to it, extinguishing the blaze with river water.
