On a recent Saturday Adji Gen T J McCoy inspected all commanding officers and members of the Wyoming national guard cavalry at Thermopolis as a step toward federal recognition. Basin delegates Ted Denny and Lew Boles returned with full instructions on unit organization. The cavalry will receive full equipment including an armory horses stables rifles uniforms and will muster into service with fourth regular army pay and weekly evening drill once equipment arrives.

Whiskey 19 Confiscated in Greybull Raid
Early Tuesday the Greybull sheriff’s office seized a truckload of whiskey from a local garage. Lloyd Hindman Wilford Pittman and Al Blake were arrested and given a preliminary hearing.
