Basin Wins Local I O O F Ball Game 32 to 9
Basin lodge defeats Worland 32 to 9 at the fair grounds in a community event that closed all local businesses. Frank Brigham starred at the plate and on base paths, with Lou Blakesley also notable for strong hitting. A return game is likely, though Brigham and Blakesley may be barred. J H Welch left Wednesday for the Burlington country to secure a contract for another county road. He aims to have it in first class shape by month’s start, following praise for the Hyattville road as the best and most economical in the county. Death of Aurelia Dawson. Aurelia Dawson born near Cincinnati November 20 1863 died June 18 1914 at her brother’s home near Manderson. Funeral held June 19 at the capitst church Manderson, burial in Burn Rise cemetery. Deceased was an invalid after childhood accident. Mrs J K McClung arrived from Jackson Ohio, called by illness of her mother Mrs Hatten of Hyattville. A Mercer and A S Mercer Jr of Paint Rock were in town yesterday.
