Officials to test glanders in Grey Bull horses

News of John Fenwick's death from typhoid fever arrives from Basin Nebraska. Born September 24 1893 in North Platte his life included schooling in Quincy Illinois and a move to Basin for health. Direct Vote Passes Senate For Direct Election Of Senators
Washington June 12 The Senate approved by 64 to 24 a resolution to amend the constitution for direct popular vote of senators. The Bristow amendment granting federal supervision of such elections was adopted 44 to 44 with the vice president casting the deciding ballot. House already passed. Senator Reed of Missouri protested the VP’s decisive vote. Bacon amendment to bar federal supervision unless state action failed was defeated 46 to 43. Final adoption 64 to 24.

West Says Will Prosecute For Irrigation Road Flooding

Greyball Plans Three Day Fourth of July Festivities
Greyball residents will celebrate the Fourth with three days of entertainments July 3 4 and 5.
