Town Council Contemplates Special Road Tax for Crossings

The Basin Progress Association met at the Frontier restaurant with President H. Ridgely presiding. A committee was formed to solicit funds for a building 18 by 28 feet on a 50 by 40 foot lot from Burlington and the railroad, while shell removal from the high school district was discussed and shelved for now. The group endorsed supporting a militia company as part of the Wyoming National Guard, and adjourned to meet next Wednesday.
