Cheyenne reports the Wyoming hoard of equalization lowers cow ponies and saddle horses by one third and common ranch horses by one fourth while cattle valuations rise. Bulls and purebred cattle are set at 86 for yearlings, 25 for calves, 35 for two year olds. Range cattle two year olds valued at 50 and dairy cattle at 60. Purebred horses at 400, heavy drafts at 150, ranch and work horses down to 75, unbroken range horses to 25, breeding jackass at 260.

Death of Jane Cook at Hyattsville a longtime Basin settler
Jane Cook wife of Daniel W. Cook died at the family home in Hyattsville last Tuesday from complications incident to old age. Born October 4, 1862, she is survived by her husband and four sons and three daughters. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon with interment in Hyattsville cemetery. She was well known among Basin old settlers who mourn her passing.
