Burlington plans bold five year railway upgrades
P G Eustis, Burlington passenger traffic manager, says the company will build its own line from Powder River to Orin Junction as finances allow. Track work on the Thermopolis Powder River branch has begun and through service Denver to Billings will start by fall. The Colorado & Southern line from Cheyenne to Orin Junction will be rehabilitated at a cost over a million dollars including new rails, new roadbed, and reballasting.
