Walls Gets Busy in Cody Gambling Case

Prosecuting Attorney W. L. Walls filed complaints at Cody on Tuesday night against Webster Frank Campbell Paul Mills and John Doe. Cunningham Webster is charged with running a gambling place and the others with gambling assault and battery. A man named Baker was attacked and robbed of 40 dollars at Webster's place. The uproar led to an order stopping all gambling and saloons from opening on Sunday.

Date Change for Clean Up Day Delayed to April 22

The council announced that the planned clean up day on April 15 has been postponed due to other pressing matters. A new date of April 22 was chosen to ensure proper observance and participation.

Local Woman Airlifted for Operation in Basin Hospital

Mrs Wesley Brittain of Greybull was brought to Basin hospital yesterday for an operation on an unknown condition. She traveled with Dr J W Gorder who will consult Dr Carter in preparing for the procedure.

Insanity complaint against Wm E Dragoo of Carter was withdrawn at the request of his wife after a favorable medical showing. Dr Carter may perform trepanning to relieve brain pressure from a skull fracture suffered seven years ago, with hopes of restoring mental faculties.

Spring Creek Trouble Near Historic Raid Site

Report from Spring Creek describes a confrontation at a bridge where Bert Arnold guiding Jim Boyd's sheep faced threats from a man named Better who drew a rifle. Routes Restored to Original Rural Mail Service

The postmaster general told Wyoming Colorado Utah and Montana representatives that curtailed rural routes would be restored if contractors waive the extra month’s pay when service is reduced. The county commissioners met this week and arranged to buy 24 acres one mile north of town from Coons & Lewis at $77 per acre to establish a county poor farm.
