George Cunningham tracked down San Bernardino man McCrafferty who had written a worthless check last year. In Barstow on Wednesday the suspect was pursued and forced to pay ten dollars in place of the bad check. Several local merchants were victimized. McCrafferty’s uncle reimbursed one loss but declined further aid after uncovering additional cases.

Yerma woman suffers nervous breakdown after collision
Raimie Connel of Yerma involved in last week's auto accident was reported to have a nervous breakdown this week. The young women are recovering well according to Dr. Graham. Miss Murphy had a bad head wound and Miss Olive Garrett a severe cut above the eye. Four machines and ten persons were involved, with no one seriously injured.
