Union Pacific Engineer Dies In Auto Accident At Summit
Walter Wilcox, Union Pacific engineer, died when his car plunged 200 feet into a canyon near Summit. The four o clock Thursday crash, reported by George Reed of Ludlow from Barstow, left Wilcox killed instantly. His wife, riding in a Ford from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, was seriously injured and later found by a passing motorist and the Summit garage man.
