Frank Marvin a Barstow resident for eight years died at San Bernardino hospital from severe burns incurred while burning brush at his home north of the Barstow bridge. Gasoline on his clothes ignited when he struck a match. a camper and neighbor aided as flames consumed him. His daughter Mable arrived shortly before death. he leaves a son Floyd in Barstow.
