A. A. Turner formerly of Barstow, visiting Houston, reports a cyanite deposit near Beatty Nevada. The cyanite group in schist extends about 2000 feet along surface, with 20 feet wide exposure, potentially usable for spark plugs and insulators, alongside other aluminum silicates like andalusite and sillimanite.
