Thanksgiving Race Tragedy Claims Two In Los Angeles Crash

Gaston Chevrolet, national auto racing champion for 1919, and Lyall Walls, Eddie O'Donnell's mechanic, died in a Los Angeles Speedway crash near the end of a 250 mile race. Eddie O'Donnell was seriously injured as Sarles won the race at an average speed of 103.2 mph.
