State Gets 125 Dollar Dormant Deposits Backed by Court
San Francisco reports that the U.S. Supreme Court decision returns dormant savings bank deposits that cannot be returned to depositors to the state. About 50 banks may yield roughly 125000 dollars to the state treasury, following a 1921 San Francisco ruling that transferred 9000 dollars from Security Savings Bank to the state.
