In Barstow district mining activity rises as an Indiana company reports a gold vein on Copper Butte with $12.60 gold and 3 oz silver at 50 feet, four feet wide. Legion to Celebrate in Victorville
The American Legion Radio event returns to Victorville on Armistice Day Sunday November 11 with riders and ropers including Pendleton winners Hippy Bannister Ray Bell Buck Hester Ray Kane Smilin Jim Holder Cliff Lyons and Earl Simpson. Hansen carried an invitation for Redlands to host next year, to be decided at May board meeting. Local desert missionary was entertained in the home of Assemblyman T M Wright author of the Wright Act.

Woman's Club Honors Retiring President
