Fresh Water Dam Plan for San Pablo Bay
J A Gosper and ten engineers completed soundings between McNear point and Point San Pedro for a proposed dam and reclamation plan turning San Pablo Bay into a major fresh water reservoir. The project envisions a two mile dam with locks, cheaper concrete and rock fills at McNear, and better flood control. Also noted are the California Development association pamphlet distributions and Homecoming events at the College of the Pacific with Governor Richardson and alumni speakers.
