Highway official backs Colton Bill to expand federal aid

Unfortunate Accident In Hinkley Ford Sparks Fire

A Saturday night dance at the Silver Valley Club in Minneola drew twenty two couples with Wetenhall's orchestra. Guests came from Daggett Barstow Yermo and Pasadena weekend visitors Nolan Allen and families from Hollywood attended. A Farm Bureau meeting at Van Dyke ranch Daggett drew locals from Hinkley and nearby areas for a picnic lunch and coffee.

Mrs Burden Injured When Santa Fe Box Car Strikes Auto
Mrs C C Burden of Newberry was cut on the face by flying glass Friday night when a Santa Fe box car struck her auto at the stock yards crossing in Barstow. The car was dragged about fifty feet, but only Mrs Burden was injured. others escaped unhurt.

Barber dies after Inn City knife attack arrest made
George Paslow a barber was severely injured in a knife attack at Inn City early Monday morning and died Tuesday at the Ostick emergency hospital. D. E. Detrick is held in the county jail on a charge of murder.
