Mexican shot by boys while hunting on ranch property
Julius Shale reports two boys trespassing on his ranch hunting with a 22 rifle. They were warned not to shoot at stock. A Mexican worker was shot at, with one round near the head and two in the hand. He sought medical care in Barstow as Shale swore out a warrant for the boys.

Re location of Lights creates Daggett radio beacon
Government re locates airway lights and installs a 24 inch revolving beacon at Daggett as part of a national air mail safety program. Suspected nartette linked to series of hold ups
Deputy Sheriff J E Farley led a posse that captured four young men in Victorville after the hold up of Deputy Fuller ton at Bagdad. Fuller ton was tied and later freed from lava rocks the car and stolen items from a Gus tini grocery were found in the car. William W Warren formerly of Barstow died at his home in San Bernardino on Monday aged 58. A California resident for most of his life he worked as a high school bus driver in the Hinkley district. He is survived by his widow Grace D Warren a brother James Warren of Monte Vista Colorado and a sister Alpha Warren of Del Harte Colorado. Funeral services were held at 2 p m Wednesday with burial in Mountain View cemetery.
