Land Entry Rules on Irrigation and Amendments in Arid District
Rules govern desert land entries with irrigation as the key factor. Amendments allowed within a year of discovery if irrigation feasibility undermines the original selection. Credits and burdens pass with assignees, and time for compliance runs from the entry date. Negligence in relinquishment and contests risks defeat. If a vein crosses a claim, the locator may receive a patent to the full surface as located.
