Victorville Chamber of Commerce Organized
A May 10 mass meeting under cottonwood trees in Victorville formed the Victorville Chamber of Commerce and adopted the name Victorville Chamber of Commerce. Arthur F. Hull elected president with E. K. Isaacs and Dr. Harris Garcelon as contenders. John C. Turner chosen treasurer as delegates from Victorville Lucerne Valley Yucca Club Sunrise Valley Sunset Valley Apple Valley Hesperia Oro Grande Mirage Valley elected internal officers. An open-air supper and social dance followed the vote and committee setup.
