E D Randall delivered 180 turkey eggs to Adelanto for hatching. Fred Gibson has 100 turkey eggs incubating. County health officer investigation into the Main ranch poison case draws criticism. Sixteen turkeys reportedly died after eating barley and grain stored in a shed near the Main residence. Mars Lime Fertilizer Company shut down its pit at Wild and loads cars from its stock dumped at the loading platform.

School election in Barstow grammar school
On Friday March 29 from 2 p m until 6 p m there will be held in Barstow grammar school an election of trustees for the grammar and high school. One trustee will be elected for a three year term for the grammar school district and one for a three year term for the high school.

San Francisco report announces that veterans who served 1917 to 1921 and are in good health may still obtain U S Government Insurance. Policies range 1000 to 10000 dollars in multiples of 500, with monthly premiums due first of each month. Beneficiaries may be individuals or entities, and no usual restrictions apply to residence, transport, occupation, or service.

Williams Improves Aviation Field in Barstow
Chas. J. Williams of Barstow has applied to extend his aviation field at the south end of First street with a 3600 by 300 foot runway and plans to build hangars. Western Air Express visitor praised the field while Lancaster aviators visit to take passengers. Mrs. Tennie McKinnon drove to Redlands with Clinton and Miss Josephine Williams to attend the St Patrick dance and note Miss Williams violin talent and Clinton’s college activities.
