Highway Collision Injures Dukelow and Harlows
Superintendent Dukelow of the Western Pacific Oil Company is hospitalized after a collision four miles east of Yerma. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Harlow of Los Angeles were in the other car. Mr. Harlow suffered a severed finger tendon and Mrs. Harlow sustained head burns and body bruises. Dukelow reportedly received a chest wound from a steering wheel spoke.

Hinkly C of C Holds Regular Meeting Despite School Event
The Hinkley Chamber of Commerce met in a well attended session amid another school event. Members thanked Southern Sierras Power Company for keeping lines live during March 4 inaugural ceremonies and discussed Route 58 paving and a survey for future connections to Las Vegas. They endorsed a Barstow to east of Hinkley F D route and circulated a petition, ending with refreshments for district ladies.
