Missouri Boys Have Head-On Collision
Two Missouri youths in separate cars collided on the highway west of Barstow early Sunday. Forest Smith and party were traveling to California in a Chevrolet while Eddie Carr and group headed to St. Louis in a Ford. Drivers were cut about the head and taken to Dr. Graham’s emergency hospital.

Car plunges over Dagger crossing injures couple

Getting Rid of Rabbits Harper Lake District
In Harper Lake district W A Davis under M Keyes of the U S Biological Service reports experimental rabbit extermination. He observed about 300 rabbits dead after the first night near his alfalfa field and more on the second night, with rabbits disappearing on the third night. He advises property owners to mix ten pounds chopped alfalfa one ounce strychnine with karo syrup and water, distribute in small piles around fences at night until rabbits disappear.
