Foundation Completed for Boy Scouts Building Progress

The Richfield Oil Company installed a 125 foot beacon tower in Barstow with neon lighting and plans a radio beacon or other government approved beacon atop it. New Appellate Court District Created for Southern California
Governor Young signed Assembly Bill 11 creating three new appellate court districts in the southern half of the state. The fourth district will span Fresno, Tulare, Kings, Kern, Inyo, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, Imperial and San Diego counties from Fresno’s north to the state’s southern border. Judgeship for Judge Benjamin F. Warmer is suggested.
