A June 7 1930 Barstow gathering of about thirty five members and as many children rode to Camp Newberry hosted by Mrs Edith Henderson and Mrs C F Sischo. The day featured swimming lunch on the hillside porch a school with teacher Mrs Jennie O Whicker music spell down prizes and a forgiving classroom finale.
