Barstow baseball club defeated Adelanto nine to seven in their last first half game at Adelanto last Sunday. Trenkle struck out fifteen with one walk as Barstow showed strong defense with only one error. Adelanto had eleven scattered hits. Barstow next hosts Santa Fe on July 4 in Barstow.
A factory demonstration presents a stove claimed to outpace city gas and rival all rivals by heating three burners in three minutes, with on off control after ignition, no wicks or chimneys, no utensil staining, and superior economy and speed. Demonstration highlights a versatile cooker claimed to be the fastest and most economical stove yet.
A factory representative will demonstrate the Kitchen Cook and other American Gas Machine Company products in store Thursday July 8. Free admission and giveaways include a Ramp Rock stove ticket with each $1 purchase, urging all shoppers to attend the event.
