Deputy Langford in Daggett Court Over Mountain Sheep Case
K. K. Langford, deputy California fish and game commissioner, attended court in Daggett before Judge Dix Van Dyke. The case involved violation of the mountain sheep law. Langford presented a photo of a recently killed sheep. The defendant claimed lack of knowledge of the law and blamed two nephews in the east. He was fined three hundred dollars, with two hundred fifty suspended.

Turkey Growers Conference in Riverside February 5
A turkey growers conference will be held at Citrus Experiment Station Riverside beginning at 10:00 A M with forenoon and afternoon sessions. Leading Riverside San Bernardino growers will discuss breeding stock egg care incubation fattening and marketing. Professors Lloyd Newton and the San Bernardino County farm advisor will attend and discuss cost of production studies. A.P. Campbell Assistant Farm Advisor signs off inviting participation and future meetings. A poultry breeding tour follows on February 6 at Fontana.
